Museum of Fine Arts, Boston 16th Annual Undergraduate Art History Symposium
The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, approached me with the challenge of designing the poster and program assets for their 16th Undergraduate Art History Symposium. The goal was to visually reflect the rich history of art explored in the students' theses while engaging a contemporary audience.
To solve this, I merged historical artistry with modern design by drawing inspiration from the works of Edvard Munch. I integrated his expressive style with contemporary typography to create a design that felt both rooted in art history and appealing to today's viewers. This approach successfully bridged the gap between the past and present, capturing the essence of the symposium’s focus while engaging a modern audience.
